The topic that I have chosen is Autism. This is an interdisciplinary problem because it has been researched by different disciplines. Some of the subjects that I used to narrow down my search in the library were children, statistics, psychology, genetics, and school age 6 – 12.
One on my peer reflected on my topic and was telling me about her cousin that is autistic. She shared with me that her cousin has a artistic ability and that this is her favorite cousin.
I really don’t know a whole lot about this topic besides the little that I have interacted with my cousin’s daughter. I am excited to learn more about Autism and develop a better understanding.
The disciplines that I think would be relevant are psychology, biology, and history.
